Walk in Downtown
Join us in a Walk in Downtown Houston on a Saturday Afternoon. This walk is approximately 3 miles long. It is mostly flat, with some hills and stairs. Enjoy some of Houston’s famous sights and take advantage of many photo opportunities. Back at Underground Hall, see why we love Houston by enjoying the many restaurants to choose from.
Epic Walking Challenge
Join our Epic Walking Challenge for March. This challenge includes setting walking goals of 20, 30, 40 and 50 miles, group walks and a mini-marathon walking tour to the Houston Rockets game. Follow along with our weekly guides that include brain health activities and your own walking schedules.
517 Walk in Dickinson
Join the Tourism Gym ladies for a 3 mile walk in the tree-shaded Dickinson 517. Admire the Great Blue Heron Project and finish at Marais on the Bayou for some Lobster Roll.
Heights Houston Walk
Meet us for coffee and a 3 mile walk in Heights Houston. Lots to see here so bring your camera for the best shots of the public art along Heights Esplanade, the Victorian Homes from the 19th century, and lots of murals.
Houston History Tour
This 5 mile adventure starts and ends with the best craft beer. We will see some of the Houston History Greats like Allen’s Landing, the Warehouse District, Downtown, Buffalo Bayou and Sixth Ward.
January Walking Challenge
Join our walking challenge with brain health lessons as a bonus. Choose your distance of 20, 30, 40, or 50 miles for the month and learn how to optimize your brain. Meet like minded women on our Tourism Walks and test yourself and really go the distance on our mini-marathon walking tours.
Emancipation Gentrification
Join the ladies of Tourism Gym for a 6 mile walk from Rice University to Third Ward. Listen to the streets tell the stories of our most influential Houstonions of the past and present.
Walk in Downtown
Join Tourism Gym for a 3 mile walk in Downtown Houston and along Buffalo Bayou. We come back for a tasty lunch of whatever we can think of at Lyric Market. There is lots to see on this walk so do not miss it.
Clear Lake Shores Walk
Join Tourism Gym for a 4 mile walk in Clear Lakes Shores. You will feel like you took a quick beach vacation in this charming neighborhood. We will have beer and food at the brewery when we are finished the walk.
First Thursday Festival
Join me and the other ladies of Tourism Gym on a walk through Rice University to the best well-kept secret in Houston that is the First Thursday Festival in Mid Main. This is a 3 mile walk. After the walk, we will explore the most soulful 3 blocks in Houston, Texas.
Heights Houston Walk
We are taking a 4 mile stroll in the Historical Heights neighborhood. See the 19th century Victorian homes, shady white oak trees, and art along the esplanade trail.

Take a quick trip to the wine country near Fredricksburg, TX. This 5K happens on the winery and includes a shirt, a wine glass, and of course wine. Tourism Gym has planned a few extras to make this short trip even better.

Grab your sunscreen and a friend and come on down to the pier. This 3 milk walk is laid back while taking in the salt air of Galveston Bay. Return back to the pier for frozen tasty beverages and lite seafood bites.
FM 517 Walk
What more could you want in a walk? This walk has cajun food, music, the bayou, and a few of the Dickinson Crane Project. Join us at Marais on 517!

This walk feels like a small getaway on an even smaller island. It is the cutest place you will ever visit. This walk is an easy, flat 3 miles. We have some craft brew at Galveston Bay Brewery afterwards.
Emancipation Gentrification
Tourism Gym will lead you on a 6-mile walking tour from Rice University to Project Row Houses and discover Houston's rich culture and history along the way. This tour will take you through some of Houston's most vibrant neighborhoods, including the Museum District, Midtown, and Third Ward.
Third Ward, a historically African American neighborhood that has been undergoing a revitalization in recent years. Our destination is Project Row Houses, a community-based arts and culture organization that is dedicated to preserving and celebrating the neighborhood's rich heritage.
EADO Walk

This is my favorite walk because it is fast, flat and colorful. See lots of murals and action on this 3+ mile walk. Come back to Around the Corner, a mainstay in EADO, known for their patio, craft cocktails, and bites.
